Geography 115 investigates the landforms and landscapes of our world - what they are, where they are, and how they formed. This graphically rich course covers landforms such as mountains and volcanoes that result from Earth's internal forces, and features such as river valleys, caves, and dune fields formed by the external forces of water, wind, and ice. Geography 115 features four field trips around central Pennsylvania to investigate the processes that formed our ridges, valleys, rivers, and more. An important element of the course is the laboratories where students work with maps, aerial photos, and stream tables to understand the landscape around us. Please note that there is an additional fee to take this course to cover the costs of field trips.
