The Peter R. Gould Center for Geography Education and Outreach is guided by three goals:

• Provide excellence in cartographic services to the University and scholarly communities

Our services for the design and production of specialty campus maps and custom cartography are available to the departments, colleges, and organizations throughout the University Park campus, State College community, and beyond.

• Expand student access to the Penn State Department of Geography via internships

Every semester undergraduate students may broaden their work experience by earning an internship with the Gould Center, assisting with tasks and working on various projects.

• Promote active learning through outreach activities

Current and potential students may participate in a variety of activities such as Geography Awareness Week.
