Geography Student Internships
This map is a resource for students seeking internships and/or jobs. It displays many of the organizations with which Penn State Geography students have interned. Position availability may vary from year to year, so even though a business/company is listed, they may not be seeking employees at the present time. In some cases, an organization's headquarters is listed, though the internships may have been based at another location, or vice versa.
The positions are divided into four categories: General, Human/Planning, GIScience, and Physical/Environmental. You can click on a location link in the table to the left of the map to zoom to a company's location. Clicking on a marker on the map displays the name of the company and a link to its web site. Please note: the exact locations are not shown on the map; rather, the locations are tied to the respective zip code's centroid.
