An internship should provide you with an opportunity to:
Geography 495 provides students the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to the real world, while earning academic credits. Throughout this experience, students gain resume-building experience and professional recommendations. And, like many internships, the internship might even lead to a job after graduation.

Note that details of a teaching internship should be worked out directly with the faculty member with whom you are working. That faculty member will also assign you your grade. Students working on teaching internships should sign up for Geography 495B.
