Ph.D. Student Shaunna Barnhart was interviewed on AccuWeather.com's Headline Earth; an unbiased program that looks at global warming issues. Host Katie Fehlinger asked questions about Shaunna's Nepalase research where she researches the impacts of families transitioning from traditional heat sources (like wood) to methane-based biogas. Though biogas is not available to everyone, those who have access to this fuel source have more time for other chores around the home or for spending more time with family.
