The Pennsylvania State University held Commencement ceremonies for baccalaureate and associate degrees at the University Park campus this past weekend. On Friday, May 16, the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences held its ceremony in Eisenhower Auditorium. Faculty members of the Department of Geography joined students and their families in the celebration.
The Geography Department presented 24 graduates with Bachelor of Science degrees. The following graduates received BS degrees: Nicholas Bader, Robert Barry, Nicholas Battista, Jatin Bhagat, Sarah Bontrager, Philip Clinese, Benjamin Hallowell, Andras Holzmann, Megan Lavelle, Jonathan Lorio, Tracey Oechsler, Brian Pacheco, Kevin Payrow, James Rajotte, Paul Schneider, Paul Simmons, Aaron Smith, Mandy Smith, David Sumba, Benjaporn Suriyachan, Adam Travis, Steven Valvano, Katherine Veri, and Stephen Weaver.

Two Bachelor of Arts degrees were awarded in the College of Liberal Arts ceremony, held in the Bryce Jordan Center on Saturday, May 18. Matthew Kralovec and Michael Mirobelli received BA degrees.
