NEXT UnderDoGS Event: Next UnderDoGS Meeting: Tuesday, October 2; 7:00 p.m. 319 Walker; Brent Yarnal, a professor in the department, will be speaking at the UnderDOGS meeting. He is going to talk to students about Grad School & The Application Process! If you are interested in going to Grad School or plan on applying in the near future, this is a GREAT opportunity to get informed and ask any questions you might have about the process or Grad School in general!!! |
The UnderDoGS at Penn State are a group of undergraduates in the Department of Geography. The UnderDoGS represent the commitment of the students in the Department of Geography to not only excel in their studies, but also in contributing to their fellow students and to society.
The group meets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. The meetings and activities include guest speakers, special events, service projects, and field trips. Past activities include visists to the CIA in Virginia and the National Geographic in Washington, D.C., hikes to Mt. Nittany, and presentations at local schools.
