I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Geography and Climate Science. Broadly, my scholarship examines environmental changes and their impacts on human populations using mixed methods. My dissertation research explores climate change adaptation.
I hold an M.A. in Geography focusing on Environmental Resource Management along with a Graduate Certificate in Watershed Studies and Management from SUNY Binghamton. While there, I worked on a grant updating all-hazard mitigation plans at the county level. I also hold a B.A. in Geography and Environmental Studies from Southern CT State University. While there, I worked on a number of projects including the development of a coastal vulnerability assessment and a critical cartography of food access.
I am also interested in transformative change, political ecology, environmental justice, and creative methods.
