Adrienne is a faculty member in Penn State University’s Online Geospatial Education program. She advises GIS Certificate students, and currently teaches Geography 482: Making Maps That Matter With GIS, and Geography 483: Problem Solving With GIS.
Prior to joining Penn State, she was a lecturer and online course developer for Michigan State University’s Department of Geography, Environment, and Spatial Sciences. She has also worked as an urban planner for jurisdictions in California, Michigan, and Texas.
Adrienne earned her B.A. in Geography from The University of Texas at Austin, and her Master’s in Geography from the University of California – Santa Barbara, where her graduate thesis focused on teaching spatial concepts in introductory college-level geography courses.
