As a human geographer, my interests are broadly focused on exploring identity, economic outcomes, and alternative economic systems outside of capitalist frameworks. I’m further interested in applying feminist, queer, and decolonial theoretical approaches to ground my research and methods.
Prior to studying at Penn State, I was a practicing planner in Los Angeles and worked on several policy and land use-based projects throughout LA County. I received a Master of Urban Planning degree from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a Minor in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach.
