Monday, August 19

319 Walker Building

  • 9:00–10:30 a.m. Meeting with Grad Program Officer (Brian King)

  • 10:40–11:00 M.S. students only (Caudill)

  • 11:00–11:30 5-Year Ph.D. students only (Diaz)

  • 11:30 a.m.–noon Ph.D. students only (Gutierrez, Chen, Flanagan, Kotikot, Lange-Maney, Misquitta, Zeller Zigaitis)

(When free, complete working papers with Jess Perks and office keys from Missy in the GEOG main office, 302 Walker Buildng)

Meet at Walker Building loading dock for Team-building with Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center (9:00 a.m. to noon event. Depart Walker by 8:30. Lunch provided afterwards in 319 Walker Building)

 

Orientation meetings in 319 Walker Building

  • 1:00–2:00 TA 101: Survive and Thrive

  • 2:00–3:00 Teaching tips for new TAs (experienced TAs)

  • 3:15 Website pictures retakes as needed (Angela Rogers)
