Thabo Sebobi
My name is Thabo Sebobi, I hail from Botswana and I'm currently pursing my PhD in Geography and Demography at Penn State University. I earned my BA in Environmental Science (Human Environment System) from the University of Botswana and my MA in Geography from Binghamton University, NY, where I specialized in GIS and Health/Medical Geography. My current research uses mixed methods and demographic techniques to understand substance use disorder and mental health among migrants of African descent in the U.S. across the life course and generations. Outside of research, I love hiking, biking, walking as well as spending time with my friends.
